The R2T classification in accordance with European Standard EN 12004 indicates a high-strength (R2) adhesive with flexibility (T). It is ideal for demanding tile installations, such as those involving large-format tiles, heavy tiles, or in areas with slight movement or underfloor heating. Ingredients for R2T Tile Adhesive Formulation: Portland Cement (Cement) – 1 part The primary binder that provides high strength and durability to the adhesive, ensuring a strong bond between the tiles and the substrate. Fine Silica Sand – 3 to 4 parts Used as a filler material to adjust the consistency and workability of the adhesive. It also enhances bonding strength and stability. Marble Powder or Limestone Powder – 0.5 part Improves the smoothness of the adhesive and increases spreadability, ensuring even application.
